1. 본 규정은 (사)한국버섯학회 정관 제4조 3항에 명시된 학회지발간에 관련하여 투고논문이 갖추어야 할 제반 사항을 정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

2. (투고자의 자격) 투고자는 본 회 회원을 원칙으로 한다. 단, 회원과의 공동연구자(coauthored paper), 초청논문(invited paper) 및 외국인의 경우에는 예외로 한다.

3. (논문의 자격) 다른 출판물에 발표되지 않았으며 발표될 예정이 없는 독창적인 연구 논문에 한한다.

4. (논문의 범위) 한국버섯학회지는 (사)한국버섯학회의 학술지로서 담자균, 자낭균 등을 포함한 모든 버섯(mushroom)관련 제 분야(분류학, 유전학, 육종학, 생리학, 생화학, 재배학, 병해충, 가공 및 기능성 등)의 논문을 게재한다.

5. (논문의 구분) 투고 논문은 그 성질에 따라 1) 보문(Research article), 2) 단보(Note), 3) 총설(Reviews) 3종류로 나눈다.

6. (원고의 작성) 원고의 작성요령은 아래와 같다.
(1) 원고는 반드시 워드프로세스를 이용하여 A4(210 × 297mm)용지에 충분한 간격을 두고 휴먼명조 11호, 줄간격 180%, 위, 아래 여백은 각각 12.7㎜, 좌, 우 여백은 각각 20㎜로 작성하며 표와 그림이 들어갈 자리를 표시한다.
(2) 한글사용 원고의 경우는 인명, 지명, 잡지명 등 특별히 구분할 필요가 있을 때 제한적으로 한자를 사용할 수 있으나 가능한 한 영문으로 작성한다.
(3) 영문사용 원고의 경우는 국문의 투고규정에 따르며, 참고문헌 인용 전에 국문으로 요약문을 포함하는 국문초록을 추가하여 기재한다.
(4) 균주명은 이탤릭체로 인쇄한다.
(5) 보문은 표와 그림을 포함하여 인쇄면 6쪽(한글 43자×35행 약 7쪽)을 표준으로 한다. 총설은 면수에 제한을 두지 않는다.

7. (원고의 형식) 원고의 형식은 아래와 같다.
(1) 보문(Research Article)은 제목, 저자, 저자의 주소, 영문요약, 각주, 서론, 재료 및 방법, 결과 및 고찰, 적요, 감사의 말, 참고문헌의 순서로 작성하며, 경우에 따라 결과와 고찰을 따로 둘 수 있다.
제목 및 저자(Title and Authors) : 국문과 영문으로 작성한다. 영문제목은 첫 단어의 첫 알파벳만 대문자로 표기 한다. 제목은 간결하고 집약적으로 작성하며, 부제 및 제00보 등은 부여치 않는다. 저자가 소속된 주소를 쓰고 소속기관이 다른 공저자의 경우 해당 연구자의 이름 오른쪽 상단에 1,2로 표시하고 그 주소를 명시한다. 주저자나 교신저자의 주소가 동일한 성명이나 주소에 어깨부호를 붙이지 아니한다. 제출된 논문의 공식 접촉 저자 (Corresponding author)의 이름 상단에 *표시를 한다.
ABSTRACT(영문요약) : 영문 논문명, 저자, 주소를 위의 제목 및 저자항의 순서에 따라 쓰고, 초록을 영문으로 작성한다. 모든 저자는 이름(First name)을 먼저 쓴 후 성(Family name)을 쓴다. 논문의 내용을 대표하는 5개 이내의 영문 KEYWORDS를 정하여 알파벳순으로 기재하며, KEYWORDS의 각 단어의 첫 알파벳은 대문자로 쓴다(단, 학명은 제외).
각주(Foot Note) : 10단어 이내의 영문 단축제목(Running title)을 제시한다. 공식 접촉 저자(Corresponding author)의 전화번호, Fax번호, 그리고 E-mail 주소를 표기한다. 모든 저자는 다음과 같이 소속과 직위를 표시한다.

서론(INTRODUCTION) : 논문의 이론 전개에 필요한 이상의 총설적 서론은 피 한다.
재료 및 방법(MATERIALS AND METHODS) : 다른 연구자들이 실험을 되풀이 할 수 있을 정도로 상세히 기술한다.
결과 및 고찰(RESULTS AND DISCUSSION) : 결과 그 자체만을 이론의 전개순서로 나열하고 설명은 고찰부분과 중복을 피하기 위해 최소한으로 한다. 고찰은 서론에서 인용한 내용과 관련하여 얻어진 결과를 설명하고 결론을 짓는다.
적요 : 국문요약은 전체 논문 분량의 5% 이내로 한다.
감사의 글(ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS) : 감사의 글은 과제 수행 시 도출된 내용이면 반드시 기재하여 연구 성과 실적의 소재를 명확하게 한다.
REFERENCES(참고문헌) : 참고문헌의 작성은 국문을 영문으로 표기하여야 하며, 영어, 불어, 독일어, 일본어, 중국어 등을 알파벳순으로 배열한다. 본문 중의 참고문헌을 인용할 때 인용한 문장이나 저자의 이름 다음에 아래와 같이 인용한다.

(2) 단보(Note)는 보문에 준하여 작성하되 Abstract, 적요, 감사의 글, References는 별도의 항목으로 나누어 작성하되, 출판면 수로 5면 이내가 되도록 한다. 단 본문의 내용 중 서론, 재료 및 방법, 결과 및 고찰 등은 별도로 구분하지 않고 연속해서 간략하게 기술한다. (3) 총설(Review)은 보문에 준하여 작성하되 특별한 형식에 구애받지 않는다.
(4) 표(Table)와 그림(Figure)의 제목과 설명은 영문으로 하되 본문을 참조하지 않아도 그 내용을 알 수 있게 기재하고, 그림에 대한 설명은 별지에 한다. 그림의 제목은 그림의 아랫부분에 기술하고 표의 제목은 표의 윗부분에 기술하여야 하며, 표 내용의 부호는 윗첨자 알파벳으로 통일하고 부호의 설명(caption)은 표의 왼쪽 아랫부분에 둔다.
(5) 본문 중에 약자를 사용할 경우 최초에 이를 설명하고 일반적인 것이 아닐 때는 Abbreviation항목을 두어 따로 설명한다. 일반적인 영문의 약자, 미생물균주명, 효소, 유전학용어 등은 국제적으로 통용되는 표기법을 사용한다.

8. (원고제출) 원고는 그림과 표를 포함한 파일(hwp, doc, txt 등)을 학회 홈페이지(http://www.ksms.or.kr)를 이용하여 제출한다(논문투고-회원가입-논문제출). 접수된 원고는 본 학회의 소유가 되며 저자에게 반송하지 않는다.

9. (원고의 반송) 투고된 원고 중 투고규정에 맞지 않는 논문, 명암이 뚜렷하지 않은 사진이 포함 되는 등 심사, 편집 및 인쇄가 곤란하다고 인정되는 원고는 저자에게 반송한다.

10. (논문의 심사) 투고 논문의 수리일은 원고가 본 회에 도착된 날로 한다. 투고된 원고는 학술지편집위원회에서 논문 심사 규정 및 절차에 의거 전문분야의 심사위원이 심사하며 그 결과에 따라 학술지편집위원회에서 게재여부 및 수정요구를 결정한다.

11. (논문의 재심청구) 수정지시를 받은 저자는 정당한 사유가 있을시 그 사유를 증빙할 수 있는 이유와 자료를 첨부하여 재심을 청구할 수 있으며, 학술지편집위원회에서 재심청구 내용을 심의하여 게재여부 및 수정요구를 결정한다.

12. (인쇄 및 교정) 채택된 논문의 인쇄는 첫 교정을 위해 교정쇄를 저자에게 우송하며 도착 후 48시간 이내에 교정 후 우송하여야 한다. 교정 중 내용을 변경할 수 없다.

13. (논문 게재료) 저자는 논문의 초교 시 학회에서 결정한 소정의 게재료를 납부하여야 하며, 동시에 연회비 납부 확인도 받아야 한다.

14. (별쇄본의 인쇄) 별쇄본 없이 PDF 파일을 제공한다. 다만 별쇄본을 요청한 저자에게는 30부 우송하며 별도 비용을 부담한다.

15. (저작권) 출판된 논문의 저작권은 본 학회에 귀속된다.

JOURNAL AIMS AND SCOPE
Journal of Mushrooms is a journal devoted to the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge of mushroom, such as systematics (taxonomy by traditional methods and systematics by molecular methods), evolution, phylogeny, morphology, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology, to such agricultural, medical, and industrial applications as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and other biotechnologies. The journal is published quarterly (March 31, June 60, September 30, December 31/one volume per year), and is the official publication of the Korean Society of Mushroom Science. Copyright is reserved by the Society. A Subscription to Journal of Mushroom Science and Production is included in the annual membership dues. Subscriptions are accepted on a calendar year basis only. All correspondences regarding membership and subscriptions should be addressed to The Korean Society of Mushroom Science. Contributions written in English and Korean are welcomed in the form of reviews, research articles, and notes.

PUBLICATION TYPES
Three types of manuscripts are considered in this journal: Research articles, Notes and Reviews.
· Research articles: In full-length research articles, authors can describe new experimental or theoretical results of significant importance.
· Notes: This note should cover topics which may be simpler in structure or of more limited interest.
· Reviews: The review paper should include current status and suggest critical review of important areas in mushroom science and production.

RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION ETHICS
Research published in Journal of Mushroom Science and Production must follow institutional, national, and international guidelines. For policies on research and publication ethics that are not stated in these instructions, “Guidelines on Good Publication Practice (http://publicationethics.org/international-standards-editors-and-authors)” can be applied.
- Authorship
An author is defined as one who has made a significant contribution to the overall design and execution of the experiments; therefore, the Korean Society of Mushroom Science deems all authors responsible for the entire paper. Assistants should be listed as authors, but may be recognized in the Acknowledgements section.
- Originality and Duplicate Publication
All submitted manuscripts should be original and should not be submitted to other scientific journals for consideration while under Journal of Mushroom Science and Production review. No part of the accepted manuscript should be duplicated in other scientific journals without the permission of the Editorial Board. If duplicate publication related to the papers of this journal is detected, the authors will be announced in this journal, their institutes will be informed, and they will be penalized.
- Conflict of Interest Statement
Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest in the manuscript.

SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPT
Manuscripts should be submitted the on-line system at http://www.ksms.or.kr. Other correspondences can be sent by e-mail to the editorial office (mushroom2@hanmail.net). We do not accept direct email submission to the Editor?in?Chief or Editors.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS (Double-blind peer review)
Once manuscripts are submitted, they will be reviewed by three experts in the corresponding field. The Editorial Board may request that authors revise the manuscripts in light of the reviewers' suggestions. approval for publication.
The authors should upload the revised files with a reply to each item in the reviewers' comments after revision of the manuscript. The manuscript review process should be completed until the Editorial Board makes a final decision on the approval for publication.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
The entire manuscript, including title, abstract, authors' information, keywords, figures and tables and references should be provided.

Manuscripts should be ordered into sections as follows: Title (including Running title, not exceeding 60 words), Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References.

- Title and Authorship (single page)
The title must be clearly intelligible to a non-specialist. The use of jargon and non-standard abbreviations in the title is not permitted. In manuscript written in Korean, title, author name, and affiliation should be written firstly in Korean. The same information should also be presented in English. In manuscript written in English, authors should refer to the basic style defined for Korean ones. If the number of authors is two or more, * mark should be indicated at the end of corresponding author. If affiliations of authors are different, superscriptions of 1, 2, 3 should be put at the end of authors name in order. The same marks should be put in front of respective affiliation. The corresponding authors should provide author’s name in English, affiliation, affiliation address, telephone, fax, and e-mail. All author’s job title(s) should be provided as well (ex. professor, postdoctoral researcher, university student, etc.)
- Abstract and Keywords (single page)
The abstract should be a single paragraph, not exceeding 200 words. URLs and references to figures or schemes should NOT be included. References should not normally be included in the abstract. At least five key words for the subject index need to be provided (alphabetical order and capitalize the first letter of each keyword).
- Introduction
The introduction should supply sufficient background information to allow the reader to understand and evaluate the results of the present study without referring to previous publications on the topic. The introduction should also provide the rationale for the present study. Use only those references required to provide the most salient background rather than an extensive review of the topic.
- Materials and Methods
The Materials and Methods section should include sufficient technical information to allow the experiments to be repeated. Give enough information about the maker and model of instrument, operating conditions and other details of the experimental procedures. For commonly used materials and methods (media and protein determinations for example) a simple reference is sufficient. If several alternative methods are commonly used, it is helpful to identify the method briefly as well as to cite the reference. Describe new methods or techniques in detail and give sources of unusual chemicals, equipment, or microbial strains so that another investigator can repeat the same procedure. When a large number of microbial strains, mutants, bacteriophages, or plasmids are used, include tables identifying their sources and properties.
- Results
The Results section should include results of the experiments. Extensive interpretation of the results should be reserved for the Discussion section.
Present the results as concisely as possible in one of the followings: text, table(s), or figure(s). Number figures and tables in order and be sure to cite all figures and tables in the text.
- Discussion
The Discussion section should provide an interpretation of the results in relation to previously published works and should not contain extensive repetition of the Results section or reiteration of the Introduction. The Results and Discussion sections may be combined.
- Tables
Tables should be numbered with Arabic numbers and cited consecutively in the text. Tables should be typed at the end of the manuscript, together with a suitable caption at the top of each table. Footnotes should be expressed as Arabic numbers of 1), 2), 3) at the bottom of tables, and no sign should be used. Moreover, *, ** marks must be used to present significance probability of p<0.05 or p<0.01 in statistical analysis. In multiple range test, alphabets of a, b, c, d, and etc. should be used and the explanations should be stated at the bottom.
- Figures
Figures should be cited consecutively in the text by Arabic numbers. Figure numbers, titles and legends should be typed double-spaced on a separate page. All figures should be submitted in such form as to permit reproduction without retouching or redrawing. Line drawings should be professionally drawn, or generated by high-resolution computer graphics. Lettering on the figures should be of good quality and of a size that allows for eventual reduction of the figures. Each figure must be clearly numbered.
- Acknowledgements
Acknowledgements of financial and personal assistance are to be given in a separate paragraph(s) as briefly as possible.
- References
The References section should include all journal articles, books, patents, and theses cited in the text, tables or figures. All items in this section should be written in English. The initial version of a paper published in this way can be cited by the Digital Object Identifier (doi) but, if available, the reference should also include the citation of the final version. Arrange the citations in alphabetical order based on the first author's name. Cite the references in the text by author name(s) with the publication year. Single-and double-authored papers are cited by both authors' last names, whereas papers with more than three authors are cited by the first author's last name followed by et al. in italic. Other relevant sources, such as articles submitted for publication, unpublished data, or personal communication, should not be listed in this section, but can be cited in the text. Abbreviate journal names, according to BIOSIS Serial Sources.

PAGE CHARGES
Manuscripts accepted for publication in Journal of Mushrooms will be charged a base fee of KRW 60,000 per paper (up to 6 pages). However, for the ones exceeding 6 page, fee is KRW 25,000 for each additional page.

COPYRIGHTS
The Korean Society of Mushroom Science requires a corresponding author to sign a copyright transfer agreement on behalf of all the authors for the maintenance and protection of the Society's ownership and rights as well as for the protection of the original authors from misappropriation of their work. If this agreement is not carried out, The Korean Society of Mushroom Science will not publish the manuscript. This agreement is sent with the proofs to the corresponding author.
